Herr Hitler accompanied, by von ■Papen, Goebels land Goer wig flew ;J° (Kiel on fiis first visit to the fleet. Hitler was saluted with nineteen guns as he boarded the flagship, the old battleship Schlesw.igholstein. All Germany’s navy was assembled, except the Koln, which has not returned from Australia, and the Emden, which is being refitted. •Hitler addressing the' garrison, said though the fleet was small, Germans regarded it with, pride, as the ino-A tangible symbol of Germany’s: honour and prestige.
