SUCCESSFUL DAY AT HOKITIKA

MEETING ON CASS SQUARE

The annual sports of tli e Hokitika

District High 'School were .held yester-

day in Cass Square under perfect iweather conditions, the presence of the Hokitika Municipal Band adding considerably to the afternoon’s enjoyment. The times recorded indicate that the track, though by no means ideal for running, was in very fair condition, and for this thanks are due to the Borough Council
