It is reported that the Soviet refused the request of the British Ambassador at Ovey, to cease broadcasting Communist propaganda in English, alleging that it only broadcasts 'for the benefit of British-residents in Russia.
TURKISH TRADITIONAL CHANGE. - (Recofvpd Ur’s day at 9.30 a.m;) CONSTANTINOPLE, December 4. By the*decision of the Government, the word “Allah” has been changed from Arabic to the Turkish “tanri.” Thus Muezzins ijn future will call ‘“Tanri,” instead of’the traditional “Allah Akbar.”
