SYDNEY, November 20. The tennis championship finals were played yesterday. Results were : Men’s singles.—Vines (U.S.A.) beat Allison (U.S.A.) 4-6, 6—l, 2—6, 6-4, 7-5. Wlomeu’s singles.—Alts . Crawford beat Miss Hartigau 4—6, 6—4, 6—4‘ Women’s Doubles.—Misses Bickerton and Hartigau beat Misses Dingle and Valkenburg 7—5, 2—6, 7—5. Men’s Doubles.—Allison and Van Ryn (U.S.A.) beat Vines and Gledhill (U.S.A.) 7—5, 10-8, 6-4. The mixted double® were postponed till Monday.
