BRANCH OF N.Z. FARMERS’ UNION. AUCKLAND MAY BREAK AWAY. (Per Press Association — Copyright.) WELLINGTON, October 27. A committee that was appointed by the Dominion Executive of the Farmers’ Union to consider the differences that have continually been arising with the Auckland provincial branch of the union presented’ >a, report to the Executive to-day. Th e committee, said that the discussion® had been conducted in a friendly manner, but that it had been found impossible to come to an understanding. ’ The committee, therefore, with very great regret, recommended the acceptance of Mr Ross’ suggestion that the Auckland Provincial Executive of the Farmers’ Union be. allowed to form a separate organisation, for whose policy the N.Z. Farmers’ Union would he in no way responsible.
