PREMIER LANG
FINANCIAL ATTITUDE
SYDNEY, February 18
Premier Lang has informed the Prime Minister that he still adheres to his original offer to provide £458, <67 towards bondholders overdue interest of £958,763. He emphasises that default has been occasioned by the determination of the Commonwealth Govern meat to withhold further financial accommodation from the New South Wales Government and thus itself had defaulted, notwithstanding it had granted financial aid to Western Australia and Tasmania.
