GOES WELL IN MUD. United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright ) NEW YORK, February 15. A message from Agua. Caliente states that Phar Lap was given his first -workout in mud early this morning. No time was taken of the horse’s effort, but it appeared that he “ate up the track.” Trainer Woodcock is satisfied that the horse will be able to run on any kind of track, and appears to be highly optimistic.
