The display of fish at the station is undoubtedly a remarkable one, as it is one .such as can be seen in only a few places in the world. That the active interest of a large proportion of the visitors to the station lias been attracted is proved by the fact that many of them have put forward the suggestion that a collection box should he installed in order that they might show their appreciation in a practical way by making small donations. A box was accordingly placed in the main building at the station, and the results obtained have been very gratifying.
