HOMESTEAD BURNT. Hy Telegraph—Per Press Association | (BLENHEIM, January IR. A large homestead, known as Bt. Leonard’s, belonging to Alex Tucker of Lower Waiimu, was totally destroyed by fire together with the contents. The fire originated from clothes catching alight in front of an open fire. The building was insured for £SOO in the State Office and £-Y)0 i„ North British. The contents were covered with £3*so in North Biitish.
