GUN DUEL
MURDER SUSPECT SHOT, (Australian Press Association.) (Received this day at 11.15 a.m.) MELBOURNE, January 19. During a gun duel between the police and a murder suspect at Jolimont, the latter was shot dead. He was identified as Raymond Brennan. Detectives, continuing their investigations into the murder of Arthur Brennan last year, called on the suspect who ran away, firing a revolver at his pursuers.
