At the half-yearly meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Bowling Association, It was decided that the annual meeting will he held at Wellington in July, Consent was given to the application from Westport, for the establishment of the Roller Centre. It was reported that a British team to tour New Zealand would leave the Old Country at the end of September, first visiting Australia. It was agreed to apply to the England Association for the exact dates of the team’s arrival in New Zealand. Advice was received from the Queensland Association that a team could not be recruited to visit New Zealand this year. y

RUNANGA DEFEAT GREYMOUTH

The challenge match for the Reynold’s Badges, between the Runanga and Greymouth Bowling Clubs, was played on Saturday afternoon, on the itunanga green, and resulted in Greymouth (holders) being defeated by 107 point® to 86. The green was in Qiod conditon. Tlhe home rinks deserved their win, as they were superior on the day’s play. Scores: (Runanga first mentioned): Syme, King.
