Mollison sny s that lie' has planned (this '.route to avoid Turkey. over which he has no wish to lly again niter his experiences at Konia on December 11th Mollison states that he decided to descend at Konia, because he was chilled in a snowstorm and bitterwinds, hoping for a comfortab.e night. On the contrary, he was surrounded by soldiers, and was marched to a hotel, where he was imprisoned in a room, and was refused food or it . was accused of .spying, because he d d not possess an authorisation to fiy. The Turkish authorities would not permit him any communication with the British Embassy at Angora, for three days, and they refused to Jrotect his plane, Finally, they permitted Mollison to go to Aleppo by train, where he obtained a permit to fly. On his return he found that his plane had been stripped of its instruments, and dashboard, and that part of the .floor had been torn up. He urges that it is time that representations were made to the T urks to prec ent them dispoiling aviators.
