MINING
MAHAKTPAWA GOLDFIELDS, LTD
Advice has been received from the mine manager of Mahakipawa Goldfields, Ltd., that the wash-up for the month of December produced 65 ounces of melted gold. This return was obtained from 275 yards of wash dirt treated for a period of twenty working days.
l'lie mine closed down oil December 24 and re-opened on Monday.
