WILSON AND SAUNDERS PLEAD GUILTY. (By Telejraph—Per Press Association) DUNIvDIN, June 15. By frankly stating that Rupert Saunders could have had nothing to do with the assault on Mrs Jane Rossister, Thomas William Wilson, in the Police Court, cleared his partner of that charge in the sensational attempted robbery at Rossi tor's shop on -May 11th. In his original statement Wilson declared it was Saunders who knocked her out. This nn ruing both Wilson and Saunders pleaded guilty to assaulting Walter Gabriel Rossi ter with intent to rob, while Wilson also pleaded guilty to the second charge of doing grievous bodily harm to Jane Rossiter. This charge against Saunders was withdrawn, Both men were committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
