The suggestion put forward by the Commissioner of Crown Lands for a Board of Control in connection wjth the Scenic Reserve or Park at Lake Kanieri, is a good one, and it i t - pleasing to see that the Borough Council on Friday night moved so readily in the direction of co-operating with the officer in the initial arrangements. Lake Kanieri by its proximity to Hoki. tika with its many natural features so outstanding’* is a great asset to the district.
