A NARROW ESCAPE
BUS HIT BY TRAIN

HAMILTON. June 16,
A narrow escape was experienced by file occupants of a bus travelling from Hamilton to Tea roll.i on Saturday night when about 7 p.m the bus crashed into a train from Cambridge to Newstead. The driver applied the breaks instantly with the result that llie Ims was slewed round into a ditcli without capsizing. D. Wright, of Hamilton, a passenger, was slightly injured in the shoulder, and one woman suffered shock. The damage was confined to a wrecked radiator and smashed windscreen.
