The tribal situation on the northwest frontier of India is again worse in the Afridi County, beyond Peshawar and thousands of armed tribesmen are advancing towards the British territory. They have been presistently and heavily bombed by the Air Force planes, which have delivered to them an ultimatum ordering them to disperse, but this lies no effect. A force of the Afridis, numbering three thousand, nmbused two motor buses that were hired by the Frontier Constabulary, and were returning empty from Subhnn Klmwnr. The natives killed the driver and burned the first bus. in the second the driver was injured and the bus was damaged.
