LATE LOCALS.
A very pleasing and happy little function took piace at the Club Hotel yesterday afternoon when members of theVKiwi Football Club and friends of Mr R. H. Perham met to bid him farewell. After a couple of toasts were honoured Mr J. Coulson, on behalf of those present asked Air Perham’s ceptance of a few little mementos, and in a very neat little speech regretted the occasion for which they had gathered together, stating that the popular Dick would he very much missed from their midst. Air Perham very feelingly replied stating that during liis sojourn in Hokitika lie had made many friends from whom it was very bard to part, ~ but nevertheless, they would constantly be in his thoughts, Air Perham left for Auckland this morning,
