Prices ' were: Steers, heavy £2O to £22 17s 6d, prime £l7 'ss to £l9 os; medium £l6 to £l7, light £ll 10s- to £l4. Cows and sold: Heavy''£l4-'IQs to £l7 17s 61, prime £lO 10s to £l4, medium'. £8 IQs to £lO, fight'-'£6 os’-to 1 1 £B. ..c.G.-v-.;-':' ' Fat sheen—There were 2,500 yarded. Prices were a shade firmer. Wethers sold: Heavy 33 to 375, medium 28s to 325, light 26s to 27s 6d. Ewes sold: ■ Heavy 26s to 31s 4d, medium 24s ’Srid 255, light 18s to 225.' Fat lambs—There were SCO yarded. : There was a sharp rise on last week, and a firm demand. Extra sold to 85s ’ id, prime 80s to 33s 4d, medium 27s to. 28s- 6d, light 24s 6d to 265; ’ Store sheep-—There -was only a smart yarding, A keen demand saw? an ad-“ Vance of 2s • per head off’ last week's prices. Choppers sold up to £6 6s, haconers £3 'l2s and £4; heavy £4 5b and £5. The average price was 7d per lb. Pork sold 42s to 545, heavy 56s to 635, average price 8d per lb. Store pigs were 3s per head easier than las’t week.
