RACING.
LIMERICK COMING HOME. (Australian Press Association) SIDNEY, October 3 Limerick lias been withdrawn from all his spring engagements. He will be sent back to New Zealand as early as possible, piul will be treated to a' long spell. Racing circles had another shock to-day when Mid Kent was withdrawn from the Metropolitan, owing to a burst heel. Limerick’s withdrawal lias been a great disappointment. The newspapers, featuring the incident, express the hope that the last has not yet been seen of the champion. The newspapers also give prominence to the great form being shown by the other New Zealand horses, Nightnnirch, Paquito, Aussie, and Pomp. The Randwick course looks a picture alfter the recent rains. Large crowds are present from other States for the opening of the Carnival. A.J.C. ACCEPTANCES. . SYDNEY, /October 3. For. the A.
