PROSPECTING IN WAIHI , DISTRICT. AUCKLAND, September 27. Further • progress toward the formation of a district prospecting and mining company at Waihi to investigate hitherto unexplored areas on the field in the hope of making important discoveries, was made at a meeting off the committee appointed to carry out preliminary arrangements. .
