This type of picture merited much success when intro■j duced with “Partners in Crime.” The 1 new picture, “ The Big Killing,” is a clever satire, bristling, with humour, 'on another section of American life, the : backwoods .mountaineers. In 1 “ Partners .in Crime,” Beery and Hatton supplied l the comedy overtones which gave the keynote to the picturisation of the underworld life of the larger cities.'
