OTAGO VARSITY. OUTCLASS AUSTRALIANS. DUNEDIN, May 25. The Varsity match was played,' in dull weather before an attendance of 11,000. Otago University defeated the Australian Varsity team by 28 points , to 8, The winners were faster all round than the visitors, and were easily the better side. For the winners, Smith, Douglas, AVehb (3), Christie and McCurdy scored tries, two of which were converted by Stevenson, who also kicked a penalty goal. Lamport scored for the loseis, Ahrens converting and also kicking a penalty goal
