SYDNEY, Nov. 23. In pleasant weather, Willard beat Higgs (England) 6—4, 13 — 15, 6 3, Crawford beat Gregory 3—6, 6—3, 6—L Gregory’s shots lacked stiength. Crawford placed many fine shots and placements, and profited by Gregory s errors.
Collins (England) beat Karins 6 1, 4 6, 6—2. In the doubles, Crawford and Hopman beat Gregory and Austin (England). I —6, 6—4, 6—l, 6 —3. New South AYales: Five rubbers, fifteen sets, 126 games.
