LORD BIRKENHEAD’S PENSION

In tbe Commons, reference was made to Lord Birkenhead’s pension (caibled 30th November) in the course of a debate on a Bill increasing the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council, Air Hudson said: —“We are confronted with one of those judges selling himself for auction, seeking positions, making it clear lie is out for a great deal more than lie lias hitherto received.
