Australian press Assn.—United Service MONTREAL, August 14. In a tennis exhibition match Australia versus Canada Crawford defeated Gibert Nunns at Toronto 6-4, 4-6, 6-4, 7-5, in the first singles. MONTREAL, Aug. 14. In the tennis doubles Patterson and Hawkes met Wright and Crocker, but the match was stopped because of darkness. Canada won the first set 6—l and third 6—3. Australia won the second 6—l, and fourth 7—5. Hopman defeated Arthur Ham, Toronto 6-1, 3-6, 10-8.
