GENEVA, June 26. For some time past a Frenchman lias been making a handsome income l>y the exercise of a novel profession. Mingling among passengers at the station at Geneva, the man would keep a sharp look-out for any woman who he had reason to believe was taking valuable jewellery hack to France He then informed. the French Customs officials at the frontier station of Bellegarde. When his victims arrived they had to pay heavy fines, a high percentage of which, in accordance with French law, went to the informer. Now, however, the Frenchman is unable to ply his lucrative trade. He has been warned off all Swiss railway stations.
