On Cass Square yesterday afternoon on a heavy ground, Hokitika ladies defeated United A (Grey) team by live goals to one. The scorers for the winners were Alisses N. Olsen (2), 0. Stapleton (3). while Aliss Sands scored for Uniteds.
At Greymoutli Alawhera defeated a weak Cobden teani by eight goals to
Runangn defeated United B by two goals to nil. Hokitika are now second highest in tlie competition for tlie Alilligan Cup. All who have promised donations for the Ladies’ Hockey Club Depot, kindly note the change of date from July 14th to July 21st.
