GOOD AYOOL SALES

At tho wool sale, 11,01)0 hales were offered against 8000 for the corresponding sale. There was a full bench of buyers and bidding was active throughout, Bradford being more noticeable on the market than at any previous sales this season. The Continent was buying freely with keen competition from Germany at intervals. A*i good hogget wool brought an exceedingly coed price, particularly any wellclassed and skirted. The only hue that showed a slight slackening as compared with other sales was pieces. Lamb was neglected, owing no doubt to the absence of orders, it being too early in the season for this class of wool. The top price of t!ib sate for cross-bred was 203 d. For fine hogget wool numerous lines sold at 14d. lod and 10d.
