THE HOUSE. WELLINGTON, Nov. 21. The House met :it 7.30 p.m. Napier Harbour Empowering Hill was. on the motion of Mr •). Mason, introduced and read a first time. The mover explained the Bill proposed to p;ive ofleet to the recommendations of -a eommissioon which recently reported on Napier Harbour affairs. The I lon so then proceeded to discuss answers given by• Ministers to written questions. This continued until 9.15 p.m. when ihy the Gover-nor-General's message there were introdu.ed and read a first time, Eduction Reserves Amendment Bill; Electric Power Boards Amendment Bill and new clause to Lands “Wash-ing-Up” Bill. The House then proceeded to consider several local Bills, which were put through all stages and passed. The House rose at 11.30 p.m. till 2.30 p.m. next day.
