WOMEN'S BRAIN POWER.
NEW YORK, Oct. 4. Mrs Helen Gardener, author, lecturer, and feminist, convinced’that a woman's brain is quite as highly developed as a man’s bequeathed her brain to Cornel "University, T. pon hei death in 1920 it was placed in the extensive brain collection there. Now, after study, it has been proclaimed to be potentially the equal of any other in the collection. "Dr James AY. Papes, curator of the collection, says that Mrs Gardener’s brain “reveals a wealth of cortical substance, or grey matter, that is only equalled, but not exceeded, by the best brains in the Cornell collection, which includes those of doctors, professors, lawyers and naturalists.
