(From Our Own Correspondent)
Mr J. Lock, who for the past twelve months has been on the staff at the local Post Office, leaves to-day on transfer to Pctonc on promotion. General regret is felt at his departure as during his stay in Boss he has been a most obliging official'and in addition has identified himself with tie various sports bodies, more particularly the hockey and tennis clubs. On Thursday evening at the resi deuce of Mrs C. P. MeNabb the members of the clubs assembled to bid fare well to Mr Lock, when the opportun ity was taken to make him a suitahi presentation. Mr Clarke of the Hawarden P.O. has arrived and already has taken up his duties as Mr Lock’s successor.
