The “Times’s” Constantinople correspondent says: 'J'lie Turkish press deKohries the Mosul verdict of the League as unjust and as valueless to Turkey, who must solve her problem herself. “ The only redeeming feature of the decision is the fact that it exposes to the whole world the Imperialist mentality of Europe,” declares the newspaper “ Akcham,” which demands to know “how much the Powers voting have been paid for their unjust verdict.”
'l'lie newspaper “ Djumhurict,” not only attacks the League, “which,” it says, “ought to be scrapped in favour of a new League, based on real equality, and possessing real authority and ideals,” but it says that the whole mandatory system is nothing but a farce, destined to legitimise tyranny, slavery and usurpation.
