The Hawke Cup match was continued this morning in perfect weather •oitditions, Nelson putting on 102 lielore the last wicket fell, the biggest score yet* made in the cup contests. \ feature of the game was the 113 made by A. liiggar, a college hoy. who was taking part for the first time in <ii inter-provincial fixture. Newman 10, Sea rile 31, extras 13. Total 102. Pearpoint, 5 for 10, was the host howling.
With 310 in arrears Marlborough •'ommoneod badly, losing M. Neal, Allardyee and Robson for 7 runs. At the luncheon adjournment 3 wickets were down for 13.
