AMUSEMENTS.

MCLEAN’S PICTURE®. D PST IX FA UN U A t—TO-XIG HT. At the Princess Theatre this evening McLean's Pictures will present a wonderful programme. The star picture is entitled "Pig Happiness” starring Dustin Farnuin, from the novel by "Pan.” in “Big Happiness” there is a story worth while. A drama of intensity. Something a little bit different. The title itself suggests that it must lie something big. and it is. A tale of twin brothers whose characters and morals are as far apart ns the poles. One man. an unscrupulous individual, whose lust for gold dominates him entirely. The other, a happy-go-lucky chap who. earing nothing for the conventionalities of life, considers money lightly and delights in the carefree existence of Bohemia. Mr Fnruuin handles both parts with wonderful skill. As the financier he repulses and repels, lie is a character thoroughly despised by his audience. As the twin brother masquerader lie creeps bis way into the hearts of all—beloved by his audience. Throughout the film there are many episodes placed in the open fun! there is where Dustin Farnuin shines. There isn’t ail actor on the screen or on the stage tvlio is a greater lover of or more familiar with the great outdoors than Mr Farnuin. Everything lie has done during his career as a thespian, lias called for a man’s size physical make-up. " Pig Happiness " is no exception io tile rule. The star's knowledge of horsemanship ami woodcraft are put to the test. His roughriding days on tho plains and in the Rockies stand him ill good stead. A comedy, gazette, and travelogue will complete this big programme. Miss Mclntosh will play new and appropriate selections. Tuesday:—May Allison and Kuckliffe Fellows in “ Flapper Wives.”
