The ordinary meeting ol the Executive wa.s held last evening at Greymouth. !l was decided, in connection with the general meeting of the New Zealand I'nion. on August (i, to instruct this Cnion's delegate to support- the motion oi' which notice lias been {riven by ill** Norih Auckland. Alanawatu, and Auckland I’nions. in reference to re.s**inding tlie resolution that no reinstated League player should he included in the All Blacks, and also to ojiopsc the motion of Wellington Cnion whereby it would fie required that ill order to call a .special 'general meeting an a'.plication would require to lie supported by one-third of the affiliated t’nioiis, instead of three, as at present.

It was decided to accept the AVestlaml Sub-Union's challenge for the Dittmnn Shield on A 111411st 0. if the Park was available on that- dale.

It was decided to play a return match with Bullet at Westport, on August 23. It was resolved to write South Canterbury Bitchy I'nion. asking for a match at Timaru 011 September 11.

It was also decided, in the event of South Canterbury accepting September 11. that the date suggested by Canterbury Union for a match at Christchurch. viz.. September 13. he accepted.

Air Perkins. manager of the Seddon Shield team, reported that the team's conduct on the visit to Mottioka had lieen good, and that the Golden Bay Cnion and people had treated them most hospitably.
