[uv TELEGRAPH —PER rRESS ASSOCIATION.] REBELS LOSING HEART. (Received this dav at 11.15 a.m.) LONDON. April 9. A number of documents captured from rebels disclose an exchange of views between rebel leaders in regard to the possibility of maintaining the struggle. The con-ensus of opinion is that it i-. uLii 1 1v impossible to carry on another summer campaign, owing to the wastage by casualties and arrest-. The letters show the officers commanding Cork number three district and Kerry number one, declared they would sooner not have a man left. Most of the leaders, however. decided by a narrow majority to struggle on though there is ho ho|>c of winning. The documents pointed out the men were giving way and they were enduring severe hardships.
