POLLARD’S PICTURES. WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. Pollards arc screening to-night a big World film drama entitled “The Quickening Flame,” starring June Elvidge and Montagu Love. “The Quickening Flame” points several lessons apart from very capable studies of the two stars, Montague Love and Elvidge—one of which is that a man matrimonially bent should watch his step lest ,ho trip and come up with r wrong spouse. A domestic mixup is revealed in the plot, for as soon as the husband, repents of his hasty marriage and attempts to forget, along comes a genuine girl, and the bonds are tied up again.
