(Received this day at 9.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, January 6. It is understood Mr V ilson will not adopt Hon. Lloyd George's suggestion that the President mediate between Armenia and Turkey, through the American High Commissioner in Constantinople. It is pointed out Jmt Mr Wilson’s mediation wiH be wholly personal through Mr Morgan and that Lloyd George’s suggestion would entail official American action which the present is not prepnred to permit. A DENIAL. (Received This Day at 8.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, January 0. Senators and officials declare they never had an intimation of any agreement for co-operation between American and Canadian fleets in the Pacific such as is outlined by the London "‘Daily News.” The foreign relations committee, members all denied the authenticity of the “Daily News’ information.
