CAPTAIN FRYATT’S REMAINS. BRUSSELS, July 5. Captain Fryatt’s body has been exhumed and conveyed, with imposing ceremony to a chapel. It WRa sent thence to Antwerp, and it will arrive at Dover in a destroyer on Monday. JAPAN’S VIEW OF LEAGUE.
LONDON, July 6. The “Daily Express” (a Government organ), publishes, from its Tokio correspondent, a report that several Japanese statesmen, on being interviewed, said that Japan would politely welcome the League of Nations, but, with their Premier, M. Hara, they did not -y believe that this League would relieve any nation of its obligation to develop its own strength. The Premier, M. Hara, said: “Japan must make a further effort. H. Tunaka, the Minister of War, declared : “ Japan, in order to maintain peace, and especially peace in the Orient must cultivate her national strength.” This Minister also warned the young men of Japan against the adoption of new ideas from abroad.

Extensive disturbances tinged with r*' anarchy are reported from Northern Italy. These were specially violent at Bologna and Florence, due to excessive prices. Government is seizing stocks and fixing prices. Every foodshop in Florence has been looted.
