The demand was good, but freezing buyers were not operating, as values were above their limits. Extra heavy steers sold to £•0.1; prime, £l6 10s to €10; light and unfinished. £l2 10s to £l-1. Cows and heifers, €l2 to £ll, and up to £2l for show cattle.

Store cattle—There was a very small yarding, mostly, comprised of dry rows'. One small pm of 3-year old st-ows icr.de €lu 12s fid; yearlings sold at U-i ]i)s to €!!; dry cows €8 to €9. There were practically no quotable lines entered, but the general tone of the market is linn.
