COMMERCIAL NEWS
At Addington stock sales on Wednesday last, i'at pigs were represented by a good entry, principally of satisfactory quality, and there was a fair demand, values showing little change \from last week. Prices were: Chopper)*, £4 10s to £0; extra baconers to £6; heavy baeoners, £5 5s to £5 12s; light baconers, £4 to £4 15s; price per lb, 73d to Bd. Heavy porkers, 70s to 78s; lighter porkers, 55s to 655; price per lb, 9d to 9*d. Stores were in limited supply, and the demand was only medium, the feed shortage apparently causing prospective buyers some anxiety. Prices were: Large stores, 54s to 60s; medium stores, 38s to 47s ; ’smaller stores, 24s to 355; weaners, 17s to 20s.
TOTATCA FLAT SATF.' There was a large attendance, but the competition was not at all keen. Hie sale opened with little animation and dragged somewhat. On account of Air A. T)oig, jur., Blackwater —60 forward ewes and wethers at 25s 6d.
On account of Mr 0 . H. Robinson—--503 two, four, and six tooth to f.f.m. ewes from 32s to 30s 9d, 185 wethers at 29 S 6d, 180 ewes, somewhat low in condition, were passed at 235. On account of Air F. Nybeig, Ngnj lcrt 28'fat sheep at 30s, 12 fat lambs at 27/3. On account of Mr W. T. Begg, Totara Flat —4 R.ojnuey rams at 5| gnidas Romney Rams at. 4 guineas, 1 Romney rain at 3 guineas, 3 'Romney rams
at 2 guineas. y On account of Mr yf Corcoran, Alw-ui-a, 16 prime quality bullocks from £6 10/-. 3 heavers at £2/15/-. On account of Mr A. and Ft. Smith pt (Trackball—3 steers at €l6/12/6, 3 heifers at €2/15/-. On neepunt of Alt'- J. Jones, Ikama-
