A Bill has been introduced by Lord Arnold reconstituting the Imperial Institute, amalgamating the Imperial Mineral Resources Bureau therewith Ihe Bill provides that the institute trustees hereafter shall consist of the Lord President of the Council, the First Commissioner of the Treasury. the Secretaries for the Colonies and India the President of the Board of Trade ■and .the Secretary of the Overseas rrade Department, the last-mentioned being responsible to the Minister. The board of Governors is to consist of a, responsible Minister and one representative each from the Dominions and India, :the Treasury, Board of Trade, .Colonial Office, Ministry of Agriculture and the Department of Scientific Re~ search, and also not more ihan 10 representatives of scientific and commercial interests, including no fewer than three governors of the Imperial Mineral Kesources Bureau.
