IMPERSONATION.
LONDON, May 17. Ten years ago the manageress of a famous little Continental cafe in Soho gave employment to Ernest Wood, who was introduced as a brother by another employee, who was later killed in the war. During a decade Ernest gave entire satisfaction as an assistant waiter, but when a few weeks ago Ernest was admitted to hospital suffering from consumption, from which he died' to-day, aged 24, it was then discovered that Ernest was a girl. No one in the cafe ever had the slightest suspicion during the whole decade that Ernest was a girl.
