QUEEN CARNIVAL. [ The Maori carnival queen committee! are holding a dance &x, Auroa to-nior- I row night (Thursday) in aid of Vieiri queen. Tlie committee are worlong', very hard, and they intend to give a 1 very fine programme at Auroa, including a maiden waltzing competition, the prize for which is very valuable; also, they intend putting' on a poi dance by the Maori girls.
