An eight-ounce ege laid by a "White Leghorn hen was shown to a Taranaki Herald, reporter yesterday morning. It is perfect in shape and very much larger than a duck egg. The shell is much thicker and harder than usual, and in this connection somewhat resembles the egg of an emu. The bird responsible for this freak is the property of Mr E. J.
