BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION— COPYRIGHT MELBOURNE, Aug. 5. Mr. Bruce, referring to the Sumatra report, promised that a thorough enquiry would be held regarding other New Guinea boats before they were allowed to leave the coast.
SYDNEY, August 4. At the annual meeting of the Institute of Journalists it was stated that an anonymous person was pajoared" to donate £10,000 towards the £40,000 necessary to establish a chair of journalism at the University.
