CIRCULAR ROAD RACE COMMITTEE. The annual meeting oF- the- Taranaki Circular lli>ad Race Committee was held Tuesday. Air C. Faii-brother, presiing over a good attendance. The balance-sheet, which was adopted, showed'that the total receipts for the year were £182 19s lOd, and the expenditure £180 2s sd, leaving a creditbalance of £2 17s sd. There were outstanding liabilities, however, totalling £11.15s 4d, leaving a nett debit balance of £S 17s lid. • The election of officers resulted: President, Mr. E. Masters, M.P., Geo, Grey, and Dr. Fookes; committee, Messrs A. George, M. Julian, O. George, F. Sykes, J. Garcia, W. Johnson, W. Roebuck, P. Douglass,, J. Bennett, G. Mclsaac, J. Utiger, W. Way, H. Moon, J. Hawk. ins, C. Sadler, E. Jackson, E. Andrews, C. Bond, F. Tribe, R. Whale, A. Hansen, H. Townsley, C. Fairbrother. J.A. Skeats, B. Tippens, R. Cook, junr., J. Cross',- G. Collingwood, J. Eppjng, and R. Finniss; secretary, Mr, E. L. Humphries; treasurer, Mr. A. George; hon. auditor, Mr. C. H. Wynyard.
