PRIMARY SCHOOLS RUGBY UNION

A meeting of the management comI mittee of the Taranaki Primary Schools Rugby Union was held at Stratford on Monday night, when there were present: Messrs L. J. Furrie (chairman), F. Mason, G. A. Lyall, R. Thomas, J. T. Fincham, Hion. secretary). j It was resolved that the' schools representative football tournament between the South, West, Central, and North districts is to be held at Stratford on August 4, the first match to take place at 10.30 a.m. j The secretary was instructed to write to the Taranaki Education Board thanking them for the offer of time off for th-e matches. ! West: Pihama, Te Kiri, Opunake, Oeo, Oaonui, Okato, Tataraimaka, Oakura, Koru, Omata. Central: Inglewood and surrounding sehols, Stratford and surrounding' schools, j Wharehma and surrounding schools, i North: Waitara, and nil New | Plymouth schools, including the New Plymouth Boys' High School prep, department. j It was resolved that the headmasters of the various New Plymouth schools ; be written to asking them to elect a i representative on the management com- , mittee of the Taranaki Primary Schools Rugby Union, vice Mr. Adlam transferred to Central district, Mr." D. P. Evans to be asked to convene a meeting for the purpose. ! It was further resolved that Messrs L. J. Furrie, R. Thomas, and J. T.
