WORK OF CONFERENCE, BY CABLE- «JESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT LONDON,. July 10. The Lord Mayor gave a luncheon at Mansion House to the High Commissioners and the Imperial Education Conference delegates. The Lord Mayor toasted the delegates, and Mr Viljoen, Director of Education in South Africa, replied. The later paid a tribute to the English educational system. The principal achievements of the conference <vere: _ First, the establishment of an Imperial bureau; secondly, the orgaai!&ation of a free unfettered educational interchange throughout the Empire; thirdly, it laid the foundation of an international commonwealth education —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
